BevLive: Castle Rock, Day 2
Not much to report. I had an adventure this morning when I apparently walked my dogs past a coyote den, disturbing mom. She came out to warn us away, very successfully, without my dogs ever even knowing anything was amiss. Intrepid hunters indeed.
Sheep spotters
The trial was pro novice, followed by a great lunch in town for Lise and I, then a jackpot that was a lot of fun. The day ended with a two dog nursery. Go figure, but it was run or forfeit our entry. I wonder if we don’t need some sort of rule for nursery classes that don’t have the five dog minimum. I know most hosts give entrants the option of a cancel and refund but there is no rule guaranteeing this. One sure would be nice, especially with entry fees getting so high.
Anyway was a fun day in the jackpot. Had a bunch of fun obstacles to negotiate made challenging by the great sheep.
